Betsy Zucker

Betsy Zucker spent 15 years as a nurse practitioner with the Portland,

Oregon VA.  She’s a labor and single payer activist, and an AFGE retiree member.  Her experience serving veterans made her a big fan of VA health care as a model for the transformation of American health care, and a strong advocate for veterans. More recently, she's been working with Health Care Workers for Palestine.  And with the election of Trump, she's been inspired by and involved in the Federal Unionists Network (FUN), a cross-union association of federal workers and allies fighting back against the current administration's attacks on workers, veterans and the public sector.
