What technology do I need to participate virtually?
All you will need to participate is an internet connection, Zoom, and a computer, tablet, or smartphone. ​

All sessions will be accessible from our Virtual Convention page and workshops and other events will be either Zoom Meetings or Webinars.
When will I get my password to access the Convention content?
An email will go out to all registrants on July 18, 2025. You will also receive an email the morning of July 24th so that the information is at the top of your inbox! This email will contain the password you need to access the virtual content, in-depth information about how to join each of the sessions, and any other information you might need.
How and when will Presente take place this year?
This year the presente will be held during "The Event". We will be honoring all the VFP members we have lost since the last VFP Convention by reading out their names alongside a bell-ringing.

BUSINESS MEETING
When will the Business Meeting be conducted this year?
The VFP Business Meeting will be held on Saturday, July 26, from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM PT. Registration for the Business Meeting will be sent to current members a week before the opening of the convention.
How will the Business Meeting be conducted this year?
To attend the Business Meeting your dues must be current. VFP's annual business meeting will be conducted both in person at the University of Nevada - Las Vegas and online.
To access the meeting virtually, you will need to download the Zoom app on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. You can watch a tutorial here.
Who can attend the Business Meeting? How do I register?
The VFP Business Meeting is open to "current" members of VFP. You do not need to register for the Convention in order to participate in the Business Meeting. Make sure your VFP dues are current so you have access to the Business Meeting.

An email to all current VFP members will be sent on Friday, July 11, 2025 with the link to register for the Business Meeting. If you have not received the link to register, but believe your dues are current, please email Shelly Rockett: shelly@veteransforpeace.org.

OTHER QUESTIONS
I want to buy an ad, where will ads be located for an online convention?
Convention ads are a great way to broadcast a message, shine the light on an issue or project, and advertise books, films, and products. Chapters and allies may also place ads to convey congratulations to VFP and/or send greetings to convention attendees.
Convention ads will be printed in the official VFP convention program, and also shown on-screen throughout the virtual convention sessions. We will also have a dedicated page on the VFP Convention website where ads will be displayed.
Where Do I Mail Packages for the convention?
Pkgs should be sent one week ahead no earlier - put your name on the package so it can be easily identified
